Moto Morini Corsaro

Moto Morini Corsaro, taking on the MV Brutale and Triumph Speed Triple.

moto morini corsaro, corsaro avio, corsaro veloce

from motorcycle.com "As if the down-low oomph wasn’t impressive enough, on the drier stretches I finally let the engine rip and the 1200 “Bialbero” (that’s Italian for Twin Cam) continues to pull like a rhino up to the rev limiter at 9000 rpm and change. Just to give you a more precise idea, between 5K and 9K the torque never dips under 72 ft-lbs, peaking with a heady 90 ft-lbs at 6500 rpm. Add to that a more-than-respectable 140-hp peak and short-ish overall gearing, and you get a tool that will give any Ducati S4RS owner a serious size complex."

from realclassic "Once on the de-restricted roads the acceleration of both machines was stunning, making overtaking in any gear pure joy - and with little to choose between them. The rear view mirrors on the Corsaro are well positioned, and far more practical than the Triumph - important on a rider's machine. Handling and suspension are superb on both, coping with manhole covers, ridges and ruts with consummate ease."

from TheTelegraph "Having said that, on the dry and twisty roads to the south of Bologna the Corsaro 1200 was an absolute blast (once you got it started). Despite the aggressive force of the engine at low and medium revs, it also revs hard to its 9,500rpm red line, and the fuelling is fine once it's spinning too. So it explodes out of corners (but beware of losing rear grip altogether) then flies down the straights with a compelling bellow from the high-rise exhausts."

The Corsaro is in an exciting class of motorcycle, here are some others to check out:
