Moto Guzzi V7 Cafe Classic
A Modern Classic from Moto Guzzi Motorcycles

Moto Guzzi V7 Cafe Classic, taking on the Triumph Bonneville.

V7 Cafe Classic - Motorcycle "I just felt so lucky to be in the seat of the 2009 Moto Guzzi Café Classic sightseeing in Rome on a gorgeous day. Apart from the perfect setting and surroundings, the V7 Café Classic also helps you get that feeling. It’s an easygoing motorcycle without any fuss which should help new riders relax more for safety and more experienced riders for the pure ‘feel good’ factor. The only negative I can think of on the V7 Café Classic is that it might just be too small for big riders, but perfect for everyone else."

from twowheelsblog "We had a test ride of the new V7 Cafè Classic and to be honest, it’s difficult to go unnoticed on this motorcycle, faithful to Guzzi style and historic class. Above all, the dominating factor is a retro look, with plenty of fascination and charm that true Guzzi fans will appreciate."

from MCN "Up front, equally tactile chrome clip-ons and mirrors, bang up-to-date switchgear and evocative, Veglia style twin dials. In fact, everywhere you look there are pleasing touches, from the chromed brake pedal and pillion grab handles, to the retro-style horn covers to the wire-meshed side panels. This is a bike you can gaze at endlessly over a garage cuppa, far more than you can at virtually anything else at the price."

from The Telegraph "It's a beautifully detailed, very well finished machine that promises plenty of ownership satisfaction before it's even turned a wheel, but the retro sports styling masks the bike's real performance, because it's certainly not fast – even by air-cooled twin standards."

from motorcyclist "Last year's Moto Guzzi V7 followed Triumph's Bonneville and Scrambler, Ducati's Sport Classic models and countless Harley-Davidsons in recreating the sights, sounds and feel of years gone by. And now Guzzi has raided its back catalog again to create the V7 Cafe Classic, inspired by the firm's jewel of the early '70s."

Ducati offer a couple of retro styled alternatives to the Moto Guzzi:

Ducati Sport 1000s

Ducati GT1000
