Moto Guzzi Motorcycles were established in 1921 and are credited with being the oldest european manufacturer in continuous production since then. The bikes are instantly recognisable by their 90 degree transverse V-twin engines, all of which are air cooled. Italian cool but with shaft drive. Strong, simple, great looking torquey motors. Big name components such as Brembo, Marchesini, but practical bikes when needed. Most machines take hard luggage and with shaft drive and screens can tour as well as anything. Under Piaggio, the all new Breva 1100 (now 1200) has also lead to the Norge (the fully faired tourer) and the 4v 1200 Sport. The GS market is tackled by the Stelvio (named after the Stelvio Pass) which also shares its engine with the Griso (one cool streetbike).
Moto Guzzi 1200 Sport
For a sports bike, this is one of the few modern bikes where both rider and passenger travel in comfort. It can also tour, with integrated mounts for Guzzi hard luggage and an ample fuel capacity. The new handlebars provide good control and, along with the saddle and the rear-set footrests, offer a good riding position.

Moto Guzzi Griso
Moto Guzzi Motorcycles have launched a 1200cc, single overhead cam and four valve per cylinder engine for the Griso, upgrading from the previous 1100cc incarnation. The Griso 8v has all the mid range character of the 1100 with a load of power at the top end of the rev band. Style highlights include the huge stainless header pipes and amazing figure-of-8 end can.

Moto Guzzi Stelvio
The Stelvio's engine has been tweaked for 2009 to improve the mid-range and the NTX bike gets various new bits as standard kit. These include side panniers, guards for the shaft drive and the engine, additional lights and off-road tyres. Panniers make the bike super wide but if you’re going the long way round or indeed long way down, it could be all you need.

Inspired by the legendary V7 Sport from 1972, the V7 Café Classic is the latest home for the 750cc twin from the Breva. Available in a cool retro green, the machine also has clip-ons, spoked wheels, raised silencers and a saddle with integrated tail cone. We're promised a sportier sound from the exhausts and the instruments resemble the famed white-faced Veglia Borletti ones from the past.

A cool looking cruiser styled machine which can handle and tour. The 940v twin satisfies those who don't get the Harley scene. Updated for 2009 with a two tone paint job and improved comfort seat for pillions.
