Ducati Motorcycles. Italian passion, spirit and soul. Everybody wants one. Which is the best ducati for you ?

ducati logo, ducati badge Ducati Motorcycles were founded in 1926 by Bruno, Adriano and Marcello and in recent years have established themselves as by far the must successful of the Italian manufacturers. They have hit that sweet spot for that all brands strive for, namely history, racing pedigree coupled with fantastic design.

In 1995, the company introduced the Ducati 916 model designed by Massimo Tamburini, a water-cooled bike that allowed for higher output levels and striking new bodywork that featured aggressive lines, an underseat exhaust, together with a single-sided swingarm. It's no overstatement to say that this machine is a timeless classic and still looks good today.

When Ducati re-joined MotoGP in 2003, MotoGP had changed its rules to allow four-stroke 990 cc engines to race. At the time Ducati was the fastest bike. In 2007, MotoGP reduced the engine size to 800 cc, and Ducati continued to be the fastest with a bike that was markedly quicker than its rivals as was displayed by Casey Stoner.

Ducati Desmosedici

desmosedici, desmosedici rr, desmosedeci The Desmosedici RR is the first ever road bike to offer a stunning wealth of performance and technology directly from Ducati's experience in MotoGP. The RR derives from the Ducati Corse Grand Prix racing Desmosedici GP6, the bike with which Loris Capirossi and Sete Gibernau competed with in the 2006 MotoGP Championship. Ducati Desmosedici

Ducati 748

ducati 748 The Ducati 748 is nearly identical to the iconic Ducati 916 but with a smaller engine. This means sublime handling on smooth surfaces, ergonomics for the supple, and a feel-good experience most other motorcycle can’t match. Few motorcycles come close to the simple, gorgeous curves of the 748. Ducati 748

Ducati 848

ducati 848 "With 26 hp more than the Ducati 749 and less weight, the Ducati 848 is still a superbike, just a slightly more rider-friendly one. In performance and personality, rest assured it is Ducati all the way. Ducati 848

Ducati Streetfighter

ducati streetfighter, ducati street-fighter, streetfighter Ducati has created yet another lust object for sportbike riders with a passion for all things Italian. Sportbike owners (maybe one of the 748, 916, 999, 1098 crowd) with ageing backs are ideal customers for a Streetfighter. There is a serious amount of performance on tap to thrill anyone, with styling to impress. Ducati Streetfighter

Ducati Hypermotard

ducati hypermotard, hypermotard Ducati Motorcycles have come up with a bike which offers all the fun of a conventional supermoto motorcycle, but with a small hint of practicality. Fantastically light and agile handling, but thanks to its meaty 1078cc V-twin engine, comfy seat and roomy riding position the Ducati Hypermotard is useful too. Ducati Hypermotard

Monster 1100

ducati monster 1100, monster 1100 There is charm to the latest version of the Monster. Its design not only looks wonderfully fresh set inside Ducati’s minimalist trellis frame, it produces bags of torque at accessible engine speeds that enables a rider to delve deep into its soulful delivery, exploding out of second-gear corners as well or better than anything else. Ducati Monster 1100

Ducati GT1000

ducati gt1000, ducati sportclassic The most comfortable of the Ducati Sportclassic motorcycles, the GT1000 is full of 70's charm but fitted with the punchy air-cooled motor of the Ducati Multistrada. Plenty of touring options available too. Ducati GT1000

Ducati Sport 1000S

ducati sport 1000s, ducati sportclassic, sport 1000s Committed riding position, beautifully rich red paintwork characterise the Ducati Sport 1000S Sportclassic. Get yourself a piece of nostalgia (with modern reliability!). Ducati Sport 1000S

Ducati ST3

ducati st3, ducati st3s, ducati sport touring, st4s The air-cooled Ducati ST3/ST3S is, for me, one of the best sports touring motorcycles. With all the right components, the bike is sporty when you want to have fun, but can travel 2up in comfort with luggage. Easily gives the Triumph Sprint ST and Honda VFR a good run for their money.
