visit ashonbikes "The 1203cc motor is damn lumpy low-down, but when you pick up the revs it provides enough motive thrust to give a fun ride. Handling is pretty good, too, with the Pirelli Diablo Stradas and Showa suspension handling my first wet ride perfectly."

visit americanrider "Those who have been waiting for a comfortable long-distance machine but want it to be sporty and American-built need wait no longer. The XB12XT absorbs bumps better than any other touring bike that I’ve ridden yet sweeps through turns like a sport bike."

visit cycleworld "The XB12X Ulysses, a dirtbike-styled "adventure sportbike" that is part adventure bike, part supermoto and part tourer. It has a massive frame, a big, comfy seat, a 1203cc pushrod V-Twin motor, and 17-inch wheels at the end of long-travel suspension, a bike ready for serious travel on anything from interstates to fireroads."

visit thunderpress "Touted as a distance-touring sportbike, the new XT variation on the existing XB12X Ulysses theme emphasizes pavement prowess over the dual-sport pretensions of the original, and it does that with a combination of shortened suspension travel, a shortened operator-compassionate seat height, a stock complement of saddlebags and top box, and a set of Pirelli Diablo Strada long-wearing sport tires in place of the Pirelli supermoto-spec Scorpion Sync jobs of the X."

visit mcn "This version sees the Showa suspension reduced down to normal road bike height, and is very plush. Being fully adjustable there’s a setting available for every riding scenario, from solo to pillion with luggage. Handling is typical Buell: agile, surefooted and manageable for a 211kg bike."

visit motorcyclingmag "Also, the engine adds weight to a motorcycle that Buell has worked so hard to make handle so well. Buell's focus on chassis rigidity, centralized mass and low unsprung comes to life in the responsiveness of 2010 Buell XB12X. With the rigid frame doubling as the fuel tank and the aluminum swingarm also serving as the oil reservoir, Buell has some amazingly cool features. Unfortunately, Buell exclusivity sometimes gets mistaken as oddity."
