BMW Motorcycle Reviews - Yes! BMW can do cool - have you seen the BMW HP2 range ?
Surprised to find BMW motorcycle reviews on this site ? We were too until we discovered the HP2 collection. BMW have been manufacturing bikes since 1923. Long associated with their flat twin boxer engine and producing mile-munching tourers, they have had enormous success with their GS range of adventure tourers, helped no end by the TV exploits of Charley Boorman and Ewan McGregor on their Long Way Round and Long Way Down programmes. The good news for fans of cool motorcycles, is that BMW appear to have reinvested the GS profits in an ever increasing range of light weight, high performance (hence HP2) and exciting motorcycles. The range began with the HP2 enduro which was soon followed by the more road biased HP2 megamoto. These were followed by the BMW HP2 Sport, a bike that squeezes still more from that R-series boxer engine, but which still looks thoroughly modern. BMW have now entered the World Superbike Championship with an all new bike, the S1000RR. The great news here is that this bike will be launched as a road going machine later in 2009.
BMW HP2 Sport
Based on the R1200S engine, the BMW HP2 Sport produces a claimed 128bhp at the crankshaft to make this the most powerful Boxer engine ever. To BMW purists this is the best, sportiest BMW ever and may be considered priceless.
BMW HP2 Sport
BMW HP2 Megamoto
This is one raw and exciting motorcycle. Derived from the HP2 Enduro but definitely one for the urban jungle. Short fuel range and super tall, but a thrill a minute blasting through town or the twisties. Top spec components complete the picture.
BMW HP2 Megamoto
BMW HP2 Enduro
The first of BMW's HP2 series of bikes, all boxer twins but designed to target niche markets. The enduro takes BMW's 25 years of off road experience and shaves a huge 53 pounds from a R1200GS to create an "uber" dirtbike, capable of fun on the streets too.

BMW S1000RR
The long awaited superbike from BMW, the S1000RR packs 193hp from a 999cc in-line four cylinder engine. In one step, BMW Motorcycles is catapulted right up to the sharp end of litre superbikes, using traction control, ride by wire throttle and plenty of GS style asymmetric design cues.

BMW K1300S
K1300S, BMW technology and performance combine to produce the Aston Martin of motorcycling. Hypersport performance, but style and comfort to match.
