Bimota Tesi
The Special Tesi 3D from Bimota Motorcycles

Bimota Tesi, A Special Bike from a special brand, the Tesi 3D from Bimota Motorcycles.

from Cycleworld "Powering the bike is a Ducati 1078cc Dual-Spark engine, which I’m quite fond of in any of its applications. In Bimota’s lightweight chassis, this torque monster provided very entertaining thrust out of corners. Bimota’s own airbox, exhaust system, ECU and fuel-injection maps are developed in-house and provided fuel delivery that was spot-on. Fresh, angular, chiseled styling on the $35,900 3D brings it up to date with the rest of the Bimota family. The Tesi may be the playboy’s ultimate toy, but this version of the 20-year-old front-suspension concept clearly delivers on the promise of a functional alternative to the good ol’ fork. If you are looking for something exotic that stands out from the crowd, the Tesi may be the perfect bike. Trust me: It’s the center of attention wherever you decide to park it."

from motorcycle.com "I firmly believe that the Tesi 3D is a work of art and engineering marvel. Hub-steered motorcycles have proven to be a very difficult commercial venture so please join me in thanking the boys at Bimota and Vyrus for continuing to offer this fantastic machine. If you can afford a hand-built motorcycle that’s almost maintenance free, then the Tesi 3D should be high on your list of acquisitions."

from MCN "The hub-centre steered Bimota Tesi is back. This is the third generation Tesi: the 3D. It costs £19,600 and is powered by the Ducati Multistrada 1100 engine. Although the Bimota is beautifully made, it’s a very cramped motorcycle and the quirky front end doesn’t have anywhere near the feel of a well set-up pair of forks. The cheaper DB5 and DB6 Delerio are leagues ahead in terms of handling, performance and fun-factor."

visit motorcyclingmag "The ergonomics are not as bad as they look on the pictures. There is room even for me, but any fatter than I and you should reconsider. At least if you intend to ride the Tesi 3D. I could think of very few other motorcycles that rival the Bimota Tesi 3D as a modern technological sculpture and every technical museum in the world should order one! Bimota are currently only building Tesi 3D's to order and there's plans for a Tesi 4D to be launched within the next two-three years."
